I have no idea about doctors in Melbourne who have experience treating CFS. My GP said she'll refer me to a rheumatologist. If you don't mind, could you please share the contact details of your doctor? Does the doctor accept medicare for bulk billing? Thanks a bunch in advance. Treating candida was part of the entire treatment plant created by my doctor. Throughout the whole process I did struggle in order to get better, but I think trusting my doctor and sticking with his plan - through thick and thin - helped immensely. I know it is hard, given how many useless doctors there are out there, but I think a big part of my success was helped by my belief in the treatment program.CFS Uncensoredhttp://cfs-uncensored.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8691033940002494756.post-3379601204720210982010-03-09T19:48:24.730+11:002010-03-09T19:48:24.730+11:00hello, can you please make a new post. thankyouhello, can you please make a new post. thankyouAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8691033940002494756.post-35717633308604814472010-02-25T19:49:35.269+11:002010-02-25T19:49:35.269+11:00hello, I read that you treated candida. can I ask ...hello, I read that you treated candida. can I ask what you used to treat it and do you feel that it worked? did you have any die off symptoms or anything? thanksAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8691033940002494756.post-91239038800117591132010-01-31T00:49:43.190+11:002010-01-31T00:49:43.190+11:00I lost my best friend....a cat....in 2009...I know...I lost my best friend....a cat....in 2009...I know I will forever miss her as she, like yours, loved me without judging me, was always there for me, listened to me, snuggled when I needed affection shown and there was no one else, so to people who under estimate the power of the love a pet will give you....you have not truly had the right pet. Now that I'm better, it's really easy to forget to take pills here and there, and then not realise until it's too late. Having said that, despite not being diligent with pills and eating right, I haven't crashed in a while, so I am pretty much normal really. As for recovering the last little bit, my doctor often says I was sick for a long time, so it'll take a long time for me to get better; which makes sense to me!CFS Uncensoredhttp://cfs-uncensored.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8691033940002494756.post-71536536912957372292010-01-02T16:42:00.498+11:002010-01-02T16:42:00.498+11:00hi, great to hear you have come so far! what does ...hi, great to hear you have come so far! what does your doctor say? is he able o help you any more can he explain why you havent recovered fully? also great blog I really enjoy reading it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8691033940002494756.post-52955907978052522272009-10-16T18:13:46.515+11:002009-10-16T18:13:46.515+11:00Thanks for the comment; sorry it's taken me so...Thanks for the comment; sorry it's taken me so long to post an update! I have ME for 15 years and only lately I started to realised that there are many things that need to be treated. To treat only one of them will never make me healthy. There aren't many doctors/therapists in the world who would have such an open mind and varied knowledge like the one you have been seeing.
Sometimes when I read your blog I would be really surprise that you were addressing all the things that took me years to find out.
Now I'm being treated by the Optimum Health Clinic in London and they are very good in searching for all the different causes involved in my particular case.

All the best in the world, I hope that you will get 100% recovered but I expect that will happen!

Kind regards,

Alexandra (from Portugal)Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02712880310674655846noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8691033940002494756.post-11995115489713439922009-04-05T17:58:00.000+10:002009-04-05T17:58:00.000+10:00So your diet is GFDF (gluten free, dairy free) and...So your diet is GFDF (gluten free, dairy free) and it also avoids some of the foods that have higher fructose levels such as apples.

Fructose is important if you have a condition known as 'fructose malabsorption' which can be tested via a hydrogen breath test.
Pears also are high in fructose as is fruit juice, coconut cream/milk, dried fruits, corn syrup and some sauces.
Interestingly wheat, onion, spring onion and asparagus are also high in fructan (short chain fructose) which need to be avoided if fructose malabsorption is a problem.
I wonder if this is why your doc recommends this approach?
Pineapple isn't high in fructose though..maybe it's just high in sugar generally.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8691033940002494756.post-11991483525808904232009-03-13T13:55:00.000+11:002009-03-13T13:55:00.000+11:00I agree completely.
